A contemporary, spacious holiday property ideal for extended or larger families, this house offers everything needed for the perfect self-catering home away from home.

Fairways is a homely, welcoming, 2 bedroom bungalow situated in the much loved coastal village of Beadnell on the Northumberland coast. The property is within easy walking distance of Beadnell’s stunning crescent shaped beach, where you can take part in one of the many water sports activities, play hide and seek amongst the sand dunes or simply relax, take a picnic and people watch. The cottage is also just a short drive from the nearby seaside villages of Seahouses - for boat trips to The Farne Islands, Bamburgh, Low Newton, Craster and many more.

Fairways is tastefully furnished, with a warming, log burning stove and free guest Wi-Fi, an enclosed patio garden, off-road parking on the driveway and a a spacious garage with laundry facilities and is ideal for securely storing bicycles, surfboards, golf clubs and big dogs.

The property provides a high standard of holiday accommodation for up to 4 guests in a double and a twin bedroom, making it a great place to stay for families or friends looking for a coastal holiday and relaxing home-from-home.

There are some excellent coastal walks nearby and this is a great area for cycling too and Fairways offers secure bike and equipment storage in the garage.

The village boasts two highly acclaimed pub restaurants, (dog friendly) the renowned Saltwater cafe for coffees and pastries by day and a mouthwatering Bistro by night and a great village store for everything you might need during your holiday.

Clean and comfortable - good to have Internet access. Very clean and tidy, everything there that we needed. Already have booked for 2018. Lovely Countryside and great Beaches to visit. Seahouses good for shopping.

The accommodation was well appointed, spotlessly clean & had everything you would need. Loved the nice touch of a welcome pack which also included a little treat for our four legged friends.

A very enjoyable break in this lovely cottage. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean on arrival. Very good location for visiting local attractions. A trip out to Inner Farne to see the puffins and other birds was a highlight. Thoroughly enjoyed Bamburgh, Warkworth and Alnwick Castles. Bus service to and from Beadnell was excellent and Explorer tiRead morecket was very useful. Much more relaxing than driving. Enjoyed meals at Craster Arms and Saltwater Caf in Beadnell, can recommend both and the Copper Kettle in Bamburgh is a must go to! We had never been to Northumberland before and found your informatiRead moreon prior to our visit really helpful. The position of this cottage is ideal for visiting all the local areas. We visited Bamburgh (loved the beach and castle). Spent some hours on Holy Island (which is very spiritual and natural). Went to Craster and purchased some kippers from the smoke house there (delicious). We walked along many of the spectacular beaches with our two dogs (the area is completely dog friendly).We spent a lovely day at Berwick on Tweed, which was enjoyable and historic. Finally where we stayed in Beadnell there is an incredibly well stocked local store which stocks just about anything you can think of and is open daily. Lastly the local people are so warm and friendly. A lovely holiday in a lovely cottage in a lovely area!! Hide

Fairways Cottage in Beadnell, offered us everything we needed, it was like a home from home, but better. It suited us as my husband is disabled, the use of the garage was an absolute blessing for his mobility scooter. The garden was safely enclosed and our dog enjoyed it very much. The cottage was lovely and clean, quality bedding and towels, plentRead morey of space for us. It was lovely and warm and I can imagine it would be great in winter, however we were really lucky with the weather. Absolutely loved Beadnell, the dog thinks Beadnell Bay is ace! The locals are friendly. Food at the Saltwater Cafe is to be recommended, need to book for the evening though. Try the massive cod n chips at the Craster Arms, bet you can't finish it! All in, would definitely recommend Fairways Cottage, we will certainly return. The whole booking process was very smooth, communication was great, you were really helpful when I asked you a last minute question about the garage. Hide

Excellent clean well equipped cottage just a short walk from beach/shop nothing negative to say at all. Beadnell itself is central to exploring the rest of the coast.
