Clashope is 1st class cottage in a good location. Very handy for Bamburgh, Seahouses, Dunstanburgh Castle and Alnwick. We visited the Treehouse in Alnwick for a meal, poor menu and very expensive for what was on offer. Much better menu and prices at the Castle Hotel in Seahouses.

Great cottage, a short walk across the fields to the beach, which the dogs enjoyed, even managing to chase a deer across the fields on the way to the beach!

It was wonderful to stay in a cottage that exuded generosity. It's not a cheap choice, but all the extra touches....picnic ware, dog towels, fantastically equipped kitchen made it feel like particularly good value! We felt well looked after both by the agency and at the cottage.

On our 2nd visit to Clashope and yet again the property is outstanding, everything we needed, taking care of the kiddies and doggies. High standard of cleanliness and welcome pack to make you giddy. Love Seahouses for a family day, special trip at the Treehouse Alnwick. All in all a fantastic 40th birthday treat.
