Unwind in style at this beautiful stone cottage set in the idyllic grounds of one of Northumberland’s finest country houses, with the coastal delights of Beadnell’s sandy cove close by.

Chapel Cottage is a beautifully furnished holiday cottage located within the grounds of Ellingham Hall just a short drive from Beadnell beach, bay and village in Northumberland. This property sleeps six in three delightful bedrooms. The cottage benefits from a ground floor bedroom, alongside a family bathroom. The large kitchen/diner is spacious and well presented and benefits from a utility room. Upstairs is a stylish lounge with two beautifully appointed double bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The other bedroom has a spacious bathroom adjacent.

To the front of the cottage, there is a garden - with a wooden table and chairs, where you can sit out, dine and enjoy the fresh country air.

The beautiful private Ellingham Hall, a stately home dating back to the 19th Century takes a prominent position in front of the cottage. Also within the grounds, children will be delighted by the amazing shared Treehouse Play area.

Just a short walk from the cottage is the Pack Horse Inn, which is a typical English Country Pub. Serving real local ale, a range of gins and other drinks, this is the perfect country retreat after you have explored the beautiful Northumbrian coastline and castles.

A little further afield is Beadnell village which is a popular choice if you would like a day out at the beach. The stunning, golden beach is within the crescent-shaped Beadnell Bay boasts plenty of sand dunes for games of hide and seek and picnics. For adventurous visitors, there are always some spectacular watersports on offer to watch or take part in - and you can cycle, walk or drive along this beautiful stretch of coastline, with horse riding and golf opportunities also available in the area.<

The magnificent Bamburgh Castle is a mere 10 miles away and a fantastic place to visit, shop and eat - while the market town of Alnwick, famous for its castle and water gardens, is only 10 miles south of Ellingham. A trip to see the seals at the Farne Islands is a must from the bustling village of Seahouses, with a great range of shops, bars and restaurants all in the vicinity.
