Had a great holiday staying at this cottage and location is spot on. The lounge and kitchen areas are bright, comfortably furnished and look out over the lovely cottage garden. The bedrooms and bathroom being downstairs feel a little dark and cold in comparison, but are fine. There is good WiFi and a hairdryer (neither are mentioned in the need to Read moreknow section on the website!) The garden is an absolute treat to sit and enjoy a quiet moment or two. Private parking is an added bonus. Hide

We enjoyed our week's stay at the cottage very much. It's in an ideal location for the centre of Alnwick, Alnwick Garden and Barter Books, all within a 2-3 minutes walk. It was a nice cottage in a good location in Alnwick, near a pub restaurants and shops. It had a shared garden and friendly owners, there were tables and chairs outside which we would have used more if the weather had been better. Potential renters need to be aware of a spiral staircase and lots of steps in the garden.
