Beggars Roost at Craster was an ideal cottage for myself and husband to have 3 nights 'away from it all'.I am a very fussy customer and the cottage was spotless. Lovely to be so close to the sea. Kippers in a bun from 'Pipers Pitch' are a must. Looking forward to returning for some more R and R.

Lovely stay at Beggars Roost Cottage, Great location on the edge of Craster Harbour. Cottage was clean and well furnished and had everything we required during our stay. Lovely view over the harbour watching Oystercatchers, Redshank and Eider amongst other wildlife.Had kippers from Craster and the Jolly Fisherman pub was very nice sitting by the fiRead morere having a great meal, the Fish Board was very nice. We had some great walks with the dog along Beadnall Bay, Bamburgh and Alnmouth and the cottage was ideally located for walks up to Dunstanburgh and down the coast to Howick and beyond. Great views, scenery and wildlife. Craster is a great base to travel to different towns and we went to Bamburgh, Seahouses and Alnwick (all within approx 10 miles). Would recommend the cottage and its location to anyone searching for somewhere to enjoy the Northumbrian Coastline. Hide

Just to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Beggars Roost in Craster last week. The cottage was lovely and warm, cosy and spotlessly clean when we arrived, we will certainly recommend it to friends and family. We all had a great week visiting the sights of Northumberland.
