Superbly located on the dramatic Northumberland coast, this converted farm cottage offers comfortable beach-side accommodation, a sense of tranquillity and a wealth of outdoor activities.

Beach Retreat is part of a farm conversion in the popular hamlet of Low Newton on Sea with direct access to the beach and coastal walks to Embleton, Craster and Dunstanburgh Castlen. This is a 3 bedroom, single storey cottage offers ample space for up to 8 guests. As the property is ideally situated right next to the beach and the beautiful sandy dunes, it also benefits from stunning views from the lounge and bedroom south facing windows. Beach Retreat makes an ideal holiday or short break for families and friends whatever the season.

At the front of the cottage there is a grassed area, ideal for enjoying the afternoon and evening sun of Newton Bay and beyond. The beach, a safe, sandy expanse which stretches south towards Dunstanburgh Castle, is just a few steps from the house and the proximity of the small village green with the much praised local hostelry called The Ship Inn, is an added bonus.

Beach Retreat now offers free guest Wi-Fi , Smart TV, Netflix and BT Sport.

Bed linen, towels, heating and hot water are provided.

This cottage accepts up to two well-behaved dogs.

Lovely, well equipped cottage in beautiful location. Our two boys loved being so close to the beach and spending their time hunting for treasure in the rock pools. A memorable holiday and we hope to come back.

The location of the cottage is amazing - so close to what is a wonderful beach with views of Dunstanborough Castle. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped - the Wifi and Smart TV worked very well. This was out third visit and we will probably return again. ps The booking/office staff were really helpful and friendly .

The cottage has s fantastic location close to the beach for lovely walks and near to The Ship pub for great food and locally brewed beer! A spacious cottage with a homely feel and great views of the beach and dunes . Kitchen is very well equipped. Enjoyed pub lunches! Kite flying , games, hide and seek on the beach! Beautiful location a few steps from the beach, and pub! Very well stocked kitchen, lots of dvds and games, beach huge and lots of sand dunes. 4 adults 4 kids and 2 dogs had a fab week!

Beach Retreat is a comfortable house where it was very easy to feel completely at home. The situation could not be better as the beach is only 2 minutes walk away and it is a fantastic place to take dogs. Local pubs are all very dog friendly too.
