Beautiful cottage with lots of space. The beds were very comfortable and the lounge was great to relax in after a day of walking. Fantastic how near to Bamburgh castle the cottage is. The beach is a stones throw from the cottage so great first thing in the morning to get the dogs out. There are also other beaches which are easy to get to by car. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable house for a family to return to after a day out. Lovely private garden. Quiet area. Fabulous location. Can walk across the road to the beach, into Bamburgh and Seahouses. Short drive to Beadnell. The area was busier than we have seen so it is best to book ahead when eating out, especially on the Friday night.Read more The highlight of the holiday was watching the dolphins from near the lighthouse in Bamburgh. Great cottage and great location. Close to beach and village of bamburgh. Only let down was the lack of blind in the master bedroom but I understand this is on order and will be fitted soon. Would definitely recommend this place.

Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys.
