This idyllic cottage, situated in such a wonderful location, close to a working farm and stunning scenery, traditional yet with a contemporary twist, everything you could want to unwind and relax.

This is a pretty stone cottage, sleeping four guests across two bedrooms and welcoming two dogs. Nestled amongst farmland in north Northumberland, close to the border with Scotland, it is an idyllic location for a family holiday, romantic break or getaway with friends.

The cottage is one of three, former farm workers cottages which enjoy far-reaching views across the open farmland and Northumberland National Park. Set near a working farm, it offers a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy watching gliders swooping silently over the Cheviots, taking gentle strolls to the local pub and farm shop in Milfield (2 miles) or exploring the local area by car. In the nearby market town of Wooler you’ll find restaurants, cafés and shops; a lovely spot to while away a couple of hours.

This pleasing cottage has a bright and modern feel. A cosy lounge with wooden floor, comfortable sofa, stylish armchairs and woodburner provides the perfect place to kick back and relax of an evening. A TV/DVD and a selection of books and games are provided for your entertainment. Beyond the lounge, the well-equipped kitchen-diner is beautifully designed, with wooden worktops, solid wooden dining table, electric oven and hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer and microwave. Upstairs, two double bedrooms both enjoy beautiful views and share a stylish bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, the back garden boasts an enclosed patio with garden dining furniture, lockable bike storage, a pizza oven, BBQ and a lawn and wooded area, perfect for games and relaxing strolls. There is parking for one car to the front of the property.

A wonderfully relaxing countryside stay awaits at 2 Kypie Farm Cottages!

If you’re looking for a seaside holiday with a difference, visit Northumberland – a region brimming with beautiful golden, sandy beaches, rolling hills, craggy moorland, bustling market towns and fishing villages, and more castles than in any other county in England.

Situated in the North East of England, this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty boasts no less than 39 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and a calendar packed with exhilarating water sports options. To indulge in a spot of surfing, kayaking or powerboating, take a trip to one of the many breath-taking Northumberland beaches - where dogs love a good walk and fresh local seafood is never far away.

Home to the awe-inspiring Cheviot Hills and the historical Hadrian’s Wall, the Northumberland National Park is renowned for its open spaces, award-winning Dark Skies and stunning rural backdrops - and is the least populated national park in Britain. Offering access to challenging hikes, horse-riding, rock-climbing and a multitude of other action-packed activities, the park is one of the region’s greatest draws.

There is a huge range of spectacular wildlife and sea life waiting to be sighted, whether you take a boat ride to the Farne Islands to admire the colony of Atlantic grey seals and puffins, or explore the Kielder Water and Forest Park, home to magnificent ospreys. If it’s history you’re looking for, the imposing Bamburgh Castle and the world-famous Alnwick Castle are undoubtedly worth a visit.

Alternatively, if you’re seeking the bright lights of a city adventure, Newcastle upon Tyne is the place to go. Here, you can experience world-class culture, outstanding attractions, superb shopping, impressive live shows, top entertainers and delicious cuisine in abundance.
