1 Beechcroft is a lovely, welcoming, 3 bedroom coastal cottage sleeping up to 6 guests in real comfort. This cottage is located in a quiet street just a short stroll to the heart of Seahouses village, harbour and beach.  Complete with a cosy, open fire to add to the atmosphere, plenty of off-road parking, plus an enclosed rear garden and lots of modern facilities, including free guest Wi-Fi, Amazon Echo with Spotify and Smart TV with Netflix and Disney Plus in the Livingroom, master bedroom and twin. The owners of 1, Beechcroft have taken great care to ensure you have everything you will need for a relaxing stay.

This is a welcoming and spacious property.  The small hallway leads into the comfortable and inviting lounge with a choice of seating. There is a TV, DVD, Amazon Echo with Spotify and an open fire making this the perfect room to sit back and relax in after a day out exploring this wonderful area. Moving into the kitchen/diner, you will find a dining table and chairs, and the well designed kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, filter coffee machine, cafetiere, dishwasher, washer dryer and large fridge freezer. Take the stairs to the first floor where you will find three attractive bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and Smart TV, a twin room also with Smart TV and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds, ideal for the kids. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

There is ample room to park up to 3 cars at 1 Beechcroft, two on the driveway and one in front of the cottage. The front garden is landscaped with blue slate and there is a wooden bench to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The fully enclosed, rear garden is attractively presented and private with outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ for guests. There is a gate to the driveway from this garden.

Bamburgh Castle and its wonderful village, with a wide range of excellent restaurants and independent shops is just a short drive or 3 mile walk along the coastal path to the north and to the south lies beautiful Beadnell Bay with its stunning, golden beach, best known as the base for a variety of water sporting activities year round and the friendly pub/restaurants. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Alnwick Castle and market town are also both within easy reach by car.

This cottage accepts up to two well behaved dogs.

  • 3 bedrooms 1 master with king-size bed and Smart TV with Netflix, Disney plus and Amazon Echo with Spotify, 1 twin with Smart TV with Netlix, and 1 single with bunk beds
  • 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC
  • Electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, 4-slice toaster, filter coffee machine, cafetiere, dishwasher, washing dryer, large fridge freezer
  • Lounge with Smart TV with Netflix, Disney plus, DVD Player with a large collections of DVDs, Amazon Echo with Spotify  and open fire (an initial supply of logs and/or coal is provided for your arrival; additional supplies are available to purchase locally)
  • Travel cot, high chair, bed rail, trainer toilet seat and stair gate available
  • Landscaped front garden with Jack and Jill seat
  • Enclosed rear garden with outdoor dining furniture and BBQ
  • Storage locker at rear for guests to use during their stay
  • Ample parking for up to 3 cars 2 on the driveway and one in front of the cottage
  • Located close to the village harbour, beach and amenities
  • Electric vehicle charging on site
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 3 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

A very cosy, warm and clean cottage. It was well equipped and in a great location in Seahouses with parking outside the property. The shower was good and the beds very comfortable. It was great that the cottage was dog friendly with an enclosed back yard. We would definitely return.

Thank you so much! We absolutely loved our stay and were particularly spoilt by the wood burner. Everything was so so clean and had everything we needed. It is so close to the town, we walked everywhere. We would love to return one day:)

A lovely warm comfortable house in a brilliant location. Handy for all the local pubs and hotels for meals, only a short walk away. Also near to lovely villages, eg Bamburgh, and Craster and long walks. Holy Isle just a few miles north is a very special, must visit, place. Thank you.

Lovely house, fab location with much needed parking as parking in seahouses is terrible (although the neighbour did help me to park the one day as the street was particularly full with little room to swing into the drive way). Never been to a house with such a well equipped kitchen, had everything I needed. The front garden was a lovely sun trap inRead more the afternoon/evening and enclosed which was good with the dog. This property is wonderful. Central location with parking is a big help as no parking available in the town. Shops within 5 minutes walk. Plenty of takeaways & pubs that allow dogs inside or in the beer gardens and independent shops to browse. Beaches at Bamburgh & Beadnell amazing for dogs to run free. Both about a 3 mile drive away. Really lovely holiday property. Very well equipped with comfortable furnishings, beds and a fabulous shower. Little touches that make a difference such as the night lights on the landing and having wifi and a great TV package upstairs and down. Although located close to the centre of Seahouses it's still very quiet and relaxing and it was great to Read moreleave the car parked on the drive and walk to shops, the harbour, beach and places to eat. Excellent location. 2 minute walk into Seahouses. Short drive (7 minutes) to Bamburgh. Off road parking for 2 cars was very useful as it is located on a narrow street. Facilities in the cottage (ie large fridge freezer, washer) good.. We would stay at this property again. We can recommend the fish & chips from Lewiss restaurant.

Loved our stay in this cosy house, comfy beds good shower and water pressure. Everything we required for a lovely stay . Was in a lovely peaceful location not far from beach few shops 4 pubs and a few restaurants Very dog friendly place would recommend if you want a quiet restful break.

We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be returning! The cottage is clean and tastefully decorated. Located centrally in Seahouses, a short walk from the harbour, shops and beach. A short drive to Bamburgh and its beautiful beach. Off road parking was a huge benefit. We stayed as a family of 4 with 2 children, they loved the toys and having NeRead moretflix and Disney+ was a huge bonus. A fantastic cottage, hugely recommended . The parking really makes a huge difference with this property and room to sit out in the sunshine front and back. Fabulous location with lots of little extras like the Alexa speaker, tea, coffee etc. Fully equipped and very clean. Bit of a squeeze for 6 adults and a dog but well worth the money.

This is our second stay here and Im sure it wont be the last. Renovations look great. Fantastic little house, everything you could possibly need and more, dog friendly (although youd never know), beautifully decorated and clean, and a very short walk from the centre of Seahouses. We found different walks towards Beadnell this time through the golf Read morecourse and worked out the buses between Seahouses, Bamburgh and Beadnell - super easy.
