The spectacular Northumberland coastline is also ripe for exploration – Budle Bay (13 miles) is wonderful for peaceful coastal walks, while the iconic village of Bamburgh (15 miles) has a magnificent castle, a beautiful sandy beach and breathtaking sea views.
