The Glass House was a fantastic place for a family summer holiday. Everything looked just as good as in the pictures - amazing views and location, and beautifully fitted out inside. The location was great for us. Easy drive to Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. However, it would have been helpful to know that we would have to lift 15kg bags of wood pellets to feed the biomass boiler and make sure that it is maintained every day. The induction hob was temperamental and kept cutting out when using a small saucepan that was provided.. TheRead morere was no 4 slice toaster. The television in the lounge was appalling, took ages to turn on then no picture and had to move channels o get a picture. Hide

This beautifully furnished modern house would suit people who are younger and fitter than us.
