My family and I had a lovely week at the Fat Badger over Christmas. Sarah and Mark (new owners) were lovely and went to great lengths to make sure our stay was as perfect as possible. The Christmas decorations were excellent and most appreciated when we were not able to have Christmas day in our own home. Walks on the beach at Bamburgh and in the dRead moreunes at Ross were delightful. Thoroughly recommend, hope to return one day. Hide

This cottage is superb. The house is beautiful, well apportioned with all the requisite necessities and in a great location, just off the A1, not far from Bamburgh. It has two nice patio areas, lots of light and a great kitchen/dining area. House is very modern with 'upside down' layout. Steep stairs (thankfully carpeted) from kitchen up to lounge. Very warm throughout, especially upstairs, and bright in kitchen! Enjoyed sitting on side deck area and looking out to Budle bay. Sadly no useable footpath within walking distance of the house and very little 'green' areas on site for doggyRead more convenience. Great location for exploring the area but definitely need a car. Very quiet even being so close to railway and A1 Hide
