Very comfortable stay in Starling cottage. Cottage spotlessly clean cosy and very comfortable ideally placed for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. My only criticism was the towels they were more like big hand towels than bath towels but that didnt spoil the holiday just made a talking point every morning x

We had an amazing time. The owners couldn't be more helpful, they even made a ramp for my husband's mobility scooter and wheelchair. Excellent location, beach and nearby attractions. We will definitely be back!

The cottage is much bigger than it looks. The entrance is narrow(ish) but it's easily accessed with most vehicles, and we had no problem. The location is great, and the beach is only a few minutes away. I'd definitely go again, it's that simple

Cottage in a great location, minutes from the beach and prom. A small store stocking the essentials and a local pub within a minute walk. A great base for exploring the area. All you need is in the cottage with a lovely welcome basket filled with goodies. Small enclosed garden which our Westie loved exploring.

Calm Quiet & Comfortable Would happily pick it up and move it to wherever we stay next. Dog loved the beach - as did we. Cottage had everything you needed and nothing you did not and a fabulous welcome pack. Good comms with the owners and although they live next door you would not know it.
