This tastefully decorated bungalow in Beadnell benefits from bright and airy communal areas and comfortable bedrooms. Sleeping up to four people in two bedrooms, it is exceptionally family-friendly though would suit a small group of friends happy to share. Not only are its interiors stylish with every amenity you should need, but the property’s location is also hard to beat thanks to being close from a number of lovely eateries, the local beach and a village shop.

To enter, go through the front door into the hallway where you can store any coats and shoes. From there, head into the open-plan living and dining area with a kitchen at one end. The lounge has comfortable sofas on which you can relax in front of the wood burner on chillier evenings. The kitchen has everything required to rustle up delicious meals and there is a large table by the patio doors for mealtimes. For more informal dining you could eat at the breakfast bar. The beautiful bedrooms are all on the same level, and set just off the hallway. There’s a king-size room and a twin room with a pull-out trundle bed if an extra sleeping spot for a child is required. Both bedrooms can share the charming family bathroom. Outside, through the patio doors, there’s an enclosed garden with a terraced area complete with garden furniture. Plus, for any bikes or large sporting equipment, you can store it away in the shed at the rear of the property.

For days out, enjoy a long leisurely walk from the front door or you could try your hand at some of the water sports available down by the sea. There’s a wonderful coastal path too that guests often like to follow. Seahouses is just 2 miles down the path, with Low Newton 6 miles away.

I thought it was a really lovely property that has been furnished to a really nice standard. The outdoor space has also been well thought out and offered privacy and a good space for a bit of stargazing. A great location to access the two nearby beaches and only a short drive to Seahouses.

Location is great as everything can be in walking distance -village shop, beach and pub.
