A lovely little cottage. We had a really relaxing few days. If you are fit and healthy, the walk into town will not be a problem. If not, you might want to take the bus or the car. A parking permit was provided and this is a real boost for travelling further afield as there is so much to see youre spoiled for choice. Although 3 bedrooms woulRead mored not really recommend for 6 adults as the living area is quite small. A great base to explore Alnwick and the surrounding areas. Hide

What a beautiful, comfortable cottage. Reasonably well equipped, lovely and clean, very comfy beds. Location to Alnwick centre is perfect, the castle and gardens only being a 10 minute walk away. The outside area is safe for dogs and a good size.

This is a gorgeous cottage in a fantastic position. Easy parking outside. Lovely owners - fab hamper. The living room is very comfortable, the bathroom is excellent. For us, choosing a cottage with an enclosed garden is our highest priority, we have a dog and don't enjoy wandering the streets at all times of day and night. We had a lovely stay at Tom's Cottage, it had everything we needed for a week away from home with the kids and Grandpa. Great location for exploring Alnwick without the car, with loads to do within a 30 minutes drive. Parking was never an issue for us and the street is lovely and quiet. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness has room for improvement, ie. cleaning all the cobwebs in the bedrooms and kitchen. Outside area needs a total refurbishment. Tablecloths for outside should be provided.
