Less than a mile from the beach along Beadnell Bay, this cosy, light and inviting bungalow offers fantastic holiday accommodation for larger families and groups of friends. A spacious and relaxing retreat with ample room for eight guests, this delightful property is perfect for exploring the breathtaking Northumberland coast. Close to the heart of the flourishing coastal village of Beadnell, this airy and soothingly decorated property is perfect for discovering the area’s friendly pubs, beautiful beaches, spectacular coastal paths and historic castles.

This welcoming bungalow features an airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of seating, a Smart TV and a warming wood burner, the lounge is perfect for snuggling up in the evening. There’s plenty of space for everyone around the dining table, and the fully equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Exploring further, there’s a stylish family bathroom and four bright and relaxing bedrooms, each with a Smart TV: one twin, one en-suite super-king-size with sliding doors opening onto the garden, and two king-size rooms, one with an en-suite shower room. Bi-fold doors lead from the lounge onto a decked area with an artificial lawn and plenty of outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco dining. A gate opens onto the village green, with plenty of space for children to play. To the front, a garden bench is ideal for a morning coffee.

Home to a number of historic lime kilns, Beadnell is an idyllic Northumberland village with a beautiful sandy beach and plenty of great places to eat and drink. A stroll along the coastal path will take you to the charming harbour village of Seahouses (2 miles), where you can take a boat trip out to the Farne Islands. Other local attractions include Bamburgh Castle (5.5 miles), The Alnwick Garden (12.5 miles) and Dunstanburgh Castle (8 miles).

We enjoyed staying here as an extended family. The location was perfect for a short walk to the beach and local cafes/ pub. Beadnell is very central for the Northumberland coast and we always stay in the village when visiting. Comfy beds and living area with space for us as 4 adults and 2 children.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage was very comfortable and clean. The welcome wine and shortbread was much appreciated. It's a great location in Beadnell especially as we have lovely weather for the whole week.

A perfect holiday home! Well decorated and furnished, well equipped and a comfortable home from home . Thank you for the little extras, the milk in the fridge for the much needed cup of tea on arrival, the shortbread biscuits and the wine! This was our second stay and hopefully not the last.

We were very happy with Sandmartins. The house was lovely and a great place for exploring some of the most beautiful places in Northumberland. The overall cottage is beautiful. We loved our Stay at your home where. everything is considered. The equipment is appreciated, with lots of glasses! The beds are very comfortable, even with a bad back condition, I was able to sleep very well, so thank you. Beautiful accommodation and ideal for larger groups who need level access. Close to the sea and local amenities, the house was equipped to a high standard and was perfect for our party which ranged from 6 months to 85 years.

Sandmartins cottage was amazing. It was very clean, had amazing decor and had everything you could possibly wish for. We were left a lovely welcoming gift of 2 bottles of wine, and shortbread which was such a personal touch by the owners. We were really pleased with the cottage when we arrived. The welcome pack was really thoughtful. Everything was clean and tidy. The beds were really comfy. My daughter in law commented that it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The perfect holiday home! We'd never been to Northumberland before and the location/house was perfect. 5 minutes to Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne/Holy Islands and a nice selection of restaurants and shops. Sandmartins was a perfect house for our family of 7 adults. A super quiet location in a cul de sac. Five minute walk to the coast path, 10 minutes to beautiful Beadnell bay. The house was very comfortable and nicely appointed with shower rooms, very comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen area.
