The door from the kitchen opens onto a large paved terrace with a dining table, barbeque, mature plants, pots of flowers and herbs and a view to the coast. The garden gates open onto a grassy path running down to the dunes and beach.
Bamburgh village is a beautiful coastal town in the heart of Northumberland. The famous Bamburgh Castle sits up high and is a truly magnificent sight, overlooking the long sandy beach, which is perfect for long walks with your family and friends. Within the town are several shops, restaurants and cafes making it a perfect place to explore.
A little further along the coast are the popular seaside villages of Seahouses and Beadnell, so you are never too far away from the beach. From Seahouses, you can take a short boat trip to the Farne Islands, a sea bird sanctuary in the British Isles with a colony of Atlantic and Grey Seals.
