The two remaining bedrooms can be found on the first floor in the eaves of the house (take care of sloping ceilings) and both are treated to en-suites. There is off-road parking for three cars.
Jump in the car and head 26 miles to the vibrant village of Bamburgh with its dog-friendly beach. Boasting terrific ocean views, both the castle and the golf course are well worth a trip before you settle down on the sand for a day by the sea. Brimming with spectacular landscapes and trails to explore, spend time roaming the Cheviot Hills. View the tumbling falls at Linhope Spout (27.5 miles), walk the Border Ridge and set off from Kirk Yetholm (4 miles), or travel 19.5 miles and summit the tallest point in the Northumberland National Park, The Cheviot, which stands at 815 metres with views reaching as far as the Lake District on a clear day.
