The Old Police House is a fabulous property. Luxuriously and tastefully furnished, everything is of a very high quality. Belford itself was a revelation, a lovely village with 3 pubs, a co-op, a deli restaurant, fish & chips shop, a museum and a lovely village shop directly across from the front door of the property. Within good reach of excellent beaches. The owners were charming, friendly and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect. There were very few rules and regulations other than the usual courteous requirements and it was our absolute pleasure to stay in and love this property if only for 7 days. A luxurious welcome hamper was provided and was much appreciated. We are hoping to return as there is so much to see in this beautiful part of the country. Thank you for everything Jacqui & Duncan Hide

Very nice location - unfortunately our host was dissatisfied with the way she said wed left the property which came as a big shock to all our party as wed done everything we could to leave it as we found it, bar cleaning the whole property as if we were the cleaners, and followed her instructions about where to leave bedding etc. empty the dishwasRead moreher and the fridge and put rubbish and recycling out for collection. We also hoovered and plumped cushions before we left so were wondering why she suggested it took her much more time to clean than usual. My suggestion is stay away if you want to just relax and enjoy a place without fear of doing the wrong thing. It left a bad taste after a wonderful break. Hide

Fantastic property. In fact one of the best we have stayed in. Well equipped and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Fab location within reach of many tourist attractions. We partularly enjoyed Bamburgh Castle and a boat trip round the Farne Islands. The local co-op/postoffice is a short walk and has all the basics and a bit more.
