Set against a backdrop of undulating hills and lush green countryside, this spectacular house is an idyllic rural retreat for a family or couples. Situated within the varied landscape of the Billsmoorfoot Country Park, which is located in the Northumberland National Park, you can soak up the panoramic views and immerse yourselves in the rural tranquillity. You can enjoy a wealth of walks from your doorstep, but be sure to pack your binoculars, as you may see fallow deer, red squirrels and barn owls on your adventures.

Beautifully restored with careful attention to detail, this luxurious, one-storey property boasts rural charm and effortless sophistication. Original features sit alongside contemporary fixtures and fittings to create an elegant country cottage style throughout. The lounge/kitchen/diner is a wonderful space for relaxing, cooking and dining together. Vaulted ceilings add to the sense of space, whilst floor-to-ceiling windows and doors frame the view and allow the light to pour in. The two bedrooms and their en-suites are located at either end of the property and have the ambience of a boutique hotel. A utility room completes the accommodation. Outside, the large south-facing garden is perfect for al fresco dining or a spot of stargazing, whilst the outside shower is ideal for washing muddy paws or boots.

There are plenty of walking trails from your doorstep, but venturing further afield, you can explore a wealth of routes in Kielder Forest Park (29.5 miles). For a taste of the county’s rich history, head to Alnwick Castle and Gardens (21 miles) and follow in the footsteps of everyone’s favourite wizard, Harry Potter. The quiet village of Otterburn (6 miles) is also worth a visit for its historic mill and shops, as is the bustling market town of Rothbury (9.5 miles), which has a range of independent shops and eateries on offer.

Wow wow wow, no words will do the Beeswing lodge any justice, its in the most perfect area if you love the woodland and waking up everyday to the view was breathtaking! Everything you need is there, the cleanest place we have ever stayed and we cant wait to go back!

Bees wing is the perfect getaway if you want to relax. The cottage is decorated and equipped to a very high standard with everything you need for your stay.
