Treat yourselves to a stay in charming Morpeth when you book this colourful cottage. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom retreat nestles at the heart of the market town, in a great location for reaching shops and eateries. It is 8.5 miles from the coast at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, which is known for its beautiful beach.

Take two steps up to wander inside the red-brick retreat to discover a characterful interior with a wealth of interesting features and furnishings. Find yourselves in the lovely lounge/diner, where you can choose a book from the shelves, then sink back into one of the plump sofas. There is also a Smart TV for your entertainment and a table to congregate at for holiday meals. Head on down one step to the galley kitchen, where you will find everything you need at your fingertips to help you cater for yourselves during your stay. There is also a handy downstairs bathroom for rinsing off the sand and the salt. At the end of each exciting day away in Northumberland, climb the stairs to the first floor of the delightful cottage. Here you have two king-sizes, one with an en-suite bathroom and one with beds that can also be set up as a twin by advance arrangement. Carry your first cup of tea of the morning out into the leafy garden to enjoy as you listen to the birds. Have a glass of wine out here too on fine evenings. There is private, off-road parking for one car.

Pack a picnic and head 9 miles to Cresswell Beach to paddle in the sea and walk along the sand. Venture 14 miles to Amble to the Harbour Village with its unique pod outlets. Plan a day trip to the Northumberland National Park, 23.5 miles away, with its myriad of footpaths.

Cottage very good. Lovely finishing touches everywhere & more spacious than expected. Location right in the centre of Morpeth with lots to do & great shopping options.
