Set within the conservation area of Alnwick, the property sits within easy reach of the bustling town centre.

Four stone steps lead up to the front door, opening into a cheerful porch and a tiled hallway. The ground floor reveals a welcoming lounge with a large bay window, Smart TV, generous seating and a fireplace as its focal point. Further along the hall is a pool room with seating and a Bluetooth speaker. At the end of the hallway, a step leads into the galley-style kitchen/diner, well equipped for preparing everything from simple breakfasts to celebratory meals. A dining table sits at the centre, creating a sociable place for gathering. On the first floor are three of the four bedrooms: two king-size rooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, and a charming twin bedroom. The family bathroom, complete with a freestanding bath and eye-catching decor, is also located here. A further staircase leads to the second floor, where a bright super-king-size bedroom sits beneath Velux windows. This airy retreat also includes an en-suite shower room and a sofa bed suitable for a child. For flexible sleeping arrangements, the king-size and super-king-size rooms all include zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins on request. Knaresdale is a fantastic base for a holiday in Northumberland. Alnwick itself has so much to offer, with the castle and gardens and great choice of restaurants but within an hours drive there is so much to see and do. Highly recommend visiting Holy Island, Bamburgh castle, Amble, Beamish, Corbridge, Morpeth & Almouth. The property itself is beRead moreautifully furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen is equipped with everything that we needed during our stay and having an air fryer and a second fridge is very useful. A clothes airer would be a very useful addition as although there is a line in the courtyard, the weather wasnt reliable enough to use it. The three king size bedrooms are spacious with en suite facilities and the beds were very comfortable. The twin room is very snug and in my opinion would really only suit children using one of the main rooms for clothes etc as there is no storage, but again Im told the beds were very comfortable. Parking, although on street, was not an issue for the 2 cars that we had. The outside courtyard area seemed quite small for a large number of people, we were eight in total, but the weather wasnt warm enough to use it so this is just an observation. Overall Knaresdale is superb and I would not hesitate to recommend it and will hopefully return in the future. Hide
