We had such an amazing stay here and honestly couldnt have asked for more. The property is absolutely huge and had everything we needed (and then some!). Everyone we met was so friendly, and there are some fantastic places to visit close by, which made it the perfect base for exploring. The little touches really made a difference too a welcome pack for us and the dog was such a thoughtful gesture. Having a couple of dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods, and even some milk in the fridge waiting for us was so appreciated after a long journey. We genuinely had the best time and were a bit gutted to see its already booked up for New Year! Were already looking at dates to come back again, hopefully with friends next time. A fabulous, very spacious and comfortable house in a convenient location close to Rothbury centre. It was extremely well equipped with everything you could want - and more! It was spotlessly clean and really well maintained. Everyone agreed that it was the best place we had stayed in the area. The wine and shortbread were much appreciated.

A good location for exploring this part of Northumberland. A nice little town with some good walks on the doorstep. Place is well equipped, and there are plenty of options for places to sit and read. Lovely big bed in the main bedroom, just a shame this is also the only way to exit out into the garden (from inside the house).

Convenient location, & village, river walk are fabulous, Italian restaurant superb. Disappointed with numerous aspects of house ie stains, mould & worn out equipment, house is advertised as 4 star.
