Discover the treasures of Northumberland at this peaceful and inviting lodge in Bamburgh, on the county's breathtaking coast. With views across to the magnificent Bamburgh Castle and the beach just 1 mile away, this property puts you in a prime position to discover this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It welcomes up to six guests so is ideal for a group of friends or extended family.

The detached house has a stylish and contemporary feel, with a light colour scheme, smooth wooden floors and tasteful furniture. The open-plan layout offers a welcoming communal space where you can spend quality time with your fellow guests. Enjoy your favourite series on the Smart TV or curl up with a novel, keeping warm with the traditional woodburner. Outside, there's a neat decking area furnished with a table and chairs where you can enjoy post-lunch coffee with a scenic view. If it's wet or chilly out, the airy dining area – with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides – is an equally appealing spot.

The Northumberland Coast Path, a 63-mile route that runs the length of the county and a designated AONB, starts just a couple of minutes away. Budle Bay (1 mile) is the nearest beach – head there for dog walking or simply to relax on the sand. For more history, head inland to Alnwick Castle (16 miles), which was used to create Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. For long treks through wide-open spaces and sweeping valleys, head inland to Northumberland National Park (17 miles) where you can join some of the UK's most legendary walking routes.

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting with views of Bamburgh Castle. Boot room very good for dogs to be cleaned and dried before going into the main accommodation. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable. Lovely welcome box and one for dog too.
