Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, it’s perfect for large families or groups of friends searching for a seaside retreat to call home while they explore the Northumberland coastline together. Spend blissful hours strolling along the beach at Beadnell Bay, and on warm evenings, relax on the cottage’s patio.

Pull up in your private parking spot (there’s room for two cars) and head into your gorgeous holiday home. Inside, you’ll be greeted by an open-plan kitchen/dining area – the heart of the home – which is bathed in relaxing pastel tones and has French doors that open out into the large garden. Head through to the light-filled lounge, which has a cosy wood burner and plenty of plush seating. The chic kitchen area has everything you need to rustle up your favourite dishes. Gather everyone to eat around the large dining table, or open up the French door to the patio and enjoy an al fresco feast. There are four inviting bedrooms upstairs – three expansive king-size bedrooms and a charming twin. Two of the king-size bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. A smart family bathroom with a bath and shower completes the stylish layout of the property.

Head into the village of Seahouses (2 miles) to visit the harbour and treat yourself to some fish and chips. Or pack a picnic and head into Bamburgh (5 miles) to stroll along its magnificent beach and photograph its iconic castle.

Sandy Shore is in an ideal location for the beach, coastal walks and Beadnell village. It is very comfortable and good value and well worth visiting.
