This luxurious holiday home enjoys a quiet, rural setting on the outskirts of Seahouses. Sleeping six guests across three elegant bedrooms, the pet-friendly property is the perfect base for families and friends looking to explore this stunning stretch of the Northumberland coast. Nearby attractions include Bamburgh Castle (3.5 miles), Alnwick Castle and Garden (15 miles), and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (20 miles).
The detached stone property has a reverse-level layout to really make the most of the far-reaching views. Inside, hang up coats in the hallway and leave sandy shoes in the boot room, before heading upstairs to discover a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden floors, high ceilings, and tranquil countryside views. To the rear of the room is a sleek kitchen area with a breakfast bar, and you’ll also find a wooden dining table for sharing mealtimes as a group. In the evenings, gather in the gorgeous lounge area, which features a collection of stylish seating set around a statement wood burner and a Smart TV. Back downstairs, three inviting bedrooms await, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Completing this level is a contemporary family bathroom. From the main living area, bi-fold doors open onto a glass-fronted balcony with outdoor furniture and stunning views across open fields. You’ll also have an enclosed patio, again with outdoor furniture. Private parking is available for two cars.
Seahouses is a vibrant fishing village with a bustling harbour, beautiful beaches, and, arguably, some of Northumberland’s tastiest fish and chips. The town also has a handful of shops selling local goods, along with cosy pubs and cafes. From the harbour, you can join one of the boat trips to the Farne Islands, where, depending on the time of year, you can see the resident puffins and seals. Just along the coast is the picturesque village of Bamburgh with its famous cliff-top castle and white, sandy beach.
