A bright and airy apartment located within a historic building and overlooking the beautiful Budle Bay. The perfect retreat for four lovers of the great outdoors and wildlife with plenty of attractions nearby.

Alight the stairs or take the lift to the third floor of this Grade-II listed building and find this two-storey apartment. Flooded with light throughout and boasting wonderful sea views, this is a welcoming spot to base yourselves. The open-plan lounge/diner has plenty of comfortable seating for curling up and watching TV or admiring the bay out of windows. Adjacent, is a lovely, practical kitchen, with plenty of storage and surface space for cooking up anything you desire. A four-seater dining table is also provided. Upstairs, there are the two bedrooms. The master has a sumptuous king-size bed and boasts sweeping views from the windows across Budle Bay. The second bedroom has a double bed and copious storage space. Completing the interior of the property is a contemporary and stylish shower room with a WC. Though located on the third floor, you can still enjoy access to an outdoor space. There is a shared garden which has loads of seating where you can dine alfresco after busy days exploring the area. Ample parking is available in the apartment block’s car park.

Budle Bay is popular with keen walkers and bird watchers. Head off on foot and transverse the walking routes enjoying breathtaking scenery and the array of wildlife that live here. There is a handy farm shop and a pub in Belford (2.5 miles) and further amenities in the village of Bamburgh (2.5 miles). Here, you can also visit the imposing Bamburgh Castle, and the sandy shores of Bamburgh Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-located property which has lovely views over the estuary. It is ideally situated for bird-watchers and has a viewing area (shared by some other properties) with seating and tables. The property is nicely furnished and fairly well equipped although there was little space to leave muddy boots or wet outdoor clothing.Read more The kitchen was reasonably well-equipped making eating-in a practical option.
