Just a short stroll from Embleton Bay (1 mile), this charming village cottage offers the perfect retreat after long, rewarding days exploring the vast Northumberland Coast National Landscape. Set at the heart of Embleton, this attractive end-of-terrace property enjoys an enviable location, with a friendly pub and village shop just moments away. Sleeping four guests and welcoming a dog, it’s ideal for a small family or a couple seeking a little extra space to unwind. Spend your days hiking, biking and wildlife spotting along the coast, or grab your golf clubs for a few rounds at the much-loved Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course (0.5 miles).

Beautifully renovated with contemporary style and comfort in mind, this two-storey holiday home feels calm and inviting throughout. A few steps lead up to the sociable open-plan living area – an L-shaped space combining a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge, and bright dining area. A wood burner-effect electric fire casts a cosy glow across the room, perfect for curling up on the sofas after a day outdoors. Upstairs, the king-size bedroom offers a peaceful spot for late-night relaxation, complete with a Smart TV, while the twin bedroom across the hall is equally welcoming. A modern shower room completes the interior. Outside, a pretty seating area adorned with fairy lights provides a lovely place for evening drinks, and there’s private parking for two cars.

Embleton Bay boasts a wide expanse of golden sand, dog-friendly year-round, and overlooked by the dramatic ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle (2 miles). Along the coast, the fishing village of Craster (3 miles) is a must-visit, famed for its world-renowned smoked kippers, scenic harbour, and charming art gallery. From here, venture south to discover Rumbling Kern (4 miles), a secluded beach with spectacular scenery, or head inland to explore the beautiful Howick Hall Gardens & Arboretum (4.5 miles).

A great statin a lovely cottage in an excellent location. Cottage was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated.it had all you need,warm and comfortable. A good location for walks, easy access to walks and beach, we are already planning another visit.

This is a well equipped cottage in a brilliant location. The cottage has everything you could want and with two pubs and two shops in the village, and a short walk to the beach and golf course it is ideally situated.

A perfect cottage getaway! We have just returned from a wonderful stay. The property is warm, welcoming and beautifully cared for. The cottage is warm, comfortable and equipped with everything you could ever need. Its location in the centre of Embleton is an added bonus with shops selling local produce, a petrol station and garage, and not to mention an excellent pub within 50 yards. For any golfers out there its 2 mins by car to Dunstanburgh Golf Club with loads of other exRead morecellent courses (Seahouses, Alnmouth, Bamburgh, Goswick) all on your doorstep. Its within walking distance (15mins) of the coast path and Embleton Bay, with both Low Newton By The Sea, Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle all within walking distance. Further afield Alnwick, Walkworth, Drudridge Bay, Holy Island are all within 30 minutes drive.
