Get together in style at this traditional cottage in Warkworth. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends in search of an inviting cottage to call home while they mark a special occasion together in Northumberland. Spend happy days splashing in the waves at Warkworth Beach, and in the evening, return to cosy up by the glowing wood burner in your cottage’s lounge.

Park in your private parking space (there’s room for two cars) and step inside your gorgeous retreat. Make your way to the lounge, which features classic decor warmed by a cosy neutral colour palette and a striking wood burner in an exposed stone fireplace. When it’s time to eat, make your way to the kitchen to rustle up some diner, and then get the whole gang together to eat by the impressive ornamental fireplace in the elegant dining room. After dinner, head out to the small seating area in the courtyard to enjoy a glass of wine, or stretch out in the lounge to catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, you’ll find three lovely bedrooms upstairs – a king-size with an en-suite shower room, a lovely double, and a versatile super-king that can be made into twin on request. Completing the layout, you’ll find a handy family bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a fabulous, roll-top, free-standing bath.

Head into Amble (2 miles) to stroll along the lively harbour and hop aboard a cruise to Coquet Island. Or make your way to the historic market town of Alnwick (7.5 miles) to tour the castle’s grand state rooms and discover the film locations that were used in the Harry Potter movies.

Fantastic position right opposite the castle and easy walking distance to the village pubs and restaurants etc. Lovely river walks from the village centre. Fantastic to have parking. House was warm and pleasantly decorated. Good to have the materials to light a fire in the lounge stove if we had needed it. Welcome food hamper was comprehensive andRead more useful. Hide

The welcome pack was truly wonderful and everything about Tower House just followed on to the same standard. Tower House is very well placed within the village and Warkworth itself makes a great base to visit the surrounding area.

A perfectly sized and well positioned spot for our family of six adults. Beautifully appointed with luxuriant bedding and good quality natural carpets. Superb walks/runs along the beach and river with plenty of fauna and flora to take in. The castle views from the windows are magnificent and awe inspiring.

Tower house was perfect for us - so comfortable, cosy yet spacious. Next to a busy corner in the high street but no noise.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was nicely furnished. Nice decor and very comfortable furniture. Bedrooms very comfortable and bright and airy. Bathrooms had everything you needed. Showers excellent. Kitchen had all you need. Excellent dining room. We were very disappointed that we could not use the outside seating because the bench and theRead more floor around it were covered in bird droppings. The outside of the kitchen windows had not been cleaned for some time - (dust and cobwebs) which was not a good look as you enter a property so it was a pleasant surprise to see that the interior was well looked after. Disappointment with the outside space means that we would not stay at Tower House again. Hide

Everything you need for your stay is there at Tower House. Location is great, even though it's on the corner and traffic passes by it wasn't at all noticeable. Definitely would stay again and the team at Coquet Cottages were fabulous
