With space for six guests over three bedrooms, this spacious and stylish abode is wonderful for a family or group trip.

Inside, statement furniture, eye-catching artwork and bespoke touches make every corner of this property feel special. Relax in the spacious open-plan living area, where leather sofas, a Smart TV and a roaring wood burner create a cosy hub. The kitchen is a dream for cooks, with glossy units and high-spec appliances. An island with bar stools sets you up for casual chats over coffee, and there’s a generous dining table for sit-down meals. Separate from the main space, you’ll have a snug for enjoying a quiet moment with a book or a game. This level also features a shower room and a double bedroom with garden access. Upstairs, you’ll find a second double bedroom with estuary views, while a wow-factor king-size room steals the show with a private balcony and large en-suite shower room. A stylish family bathroom with a free-standing bath completes the first floor. Parking includes one private space, with nearby on-street options subject to availability.

Walkers are in for a treat, with both Oswald’s Way and the Northumberland Coast Path winding right through the village. Enjoy a classic day by the sea in pretty Seahouses (16 miles) or set off to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (30 miles) for windswept walks and wildlife spotting. History lovers can visit the mighty Bamburgh Castle (19 miles) or Alnwick Castle (5 miles).

This is a beautiful place. Fantastically located, within easy walking distance to Pubs, shop and beach. Love the outdoor space and wood burning stove. Nearby beaches are wonderful and there are plenty of really good restaurants especially in Amble - Jaspers, The Old Boat House. Staying at Waleric House is truly special.

The state of the glass in the windows, particularly the bifold doors is disappointing.

A fabulous house to stay in, so well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The welcome pack was more than anywhere else we have ever stayed-it was so good. Even the dogs got treats. Great location in a beautiful village, beach & pubs on the doorstep. Good garden too. Parking was interesting but we got used to it. We had the best week.
