Perched on the edge of Warkworth, this magnificent stone house offers a magical base for family gatherings and special occasions with your loved ones. Sleeping 12 guests in six bedrooms, this dog-friendly holiday home combines generous social spaces with a stunning garden and handsome period features.

Step through the entrance into the grand reception hall, where stained glass, high ceilings and an original staircase set the tone for the rest of the house. There’s ample space to relax and unwind with a light-filled, dual-aspect lounge with tall windows, plush seating and a Smart TV, plus an intimate snug which offers a cosy alternative for reading or film nights. The spacious kitchen forms a sociable hub with exposed brickwork, a large range oven, a breakfast bar and a small table for casual bites. A separate, formal dining room sets the scene for celebratory mealtimes, while a utility room and downstairs WC add convenience. Upstairs, six sumptuous bedrooms invite a blissful slumber, each with quality linens. Choose between a super-king-size master suite with south-facing windows and an en-suite, three king-size bedrooms, two of which have en-suites, and two twins, one with an en-suite and zip-and-link beds that can form a super-king-size on request. A family bathroom completes the accommodation. A private patio and BBQ off the kitchen invites al fresco dining, while the unenclosed grassy garden provides a backdrop for kids and dogs to play. Private parking is available for eight cars.

The delights of Warkworth are close at hand, with the sandy beach, imposing castle, pretty village centre and golf course all within a mile of your front door. Stroll along the riverside to the pretty harbour town of Amble (under 2.5 miles), where you can browse artisan stalls and seafood shacks on the marina and hop on a boat to Coquet Island to see puffins and other seabirds.
