This attractive two-storey cottage, set in an enviable position in the pretty village of Beadnell, is ideal for families and friends seeking a relaxing seaside retreat with easy access to the Northumberland Coast National Landscape. The property is only a mile from the wide, sandy beach at Beadnell Bay, which is popular for water sports and swimming. Visit the attractive fishing village of Seahouses (2 miles) to walk its cobbled streets, admire the colourful cottages, or take seal and puffin spotting cruises from the harbour.

Enter this homely cottage via the contemporary kitchen/diner, an airy space with plenty of room for socialising, a large dining table, and all the appliances you need for preparing holiday feasts. The decor throughout is calming and thoughtfully reflects the property’s coastal location. The hall leads to the lounge, where glass doors opening onto the garden flood the room with natural light. Relax on the comfortable sofas and watch your favourite series together on the Smart TV. Completing the ground floor, you’ll find a splendid twin bedroom that converts to a super-king-size on request, plus a family wet room. Upstairs, served by a well-appointed family bathroom, choose from a master super-king-size bedroom and a twin room that converts to a king-size on request. Outside, the garden features a paved patio area with outdoor furniture, making this an ideal spot for al fresco meals. There’s private, off-road parking for two cars, with an additional space just metres away.

Lace up your hiking boots and walk 3 miles along the coastal path to visit historic Bamburgh, where you can explore the dramatic castle. Nearby Embleton Bay (6.5 miles) is famous for its long, sandy beach and views towards Dunstanburgh Castle. Otherwise, head north and spend a day exploring the culture, history, and nature of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (21.5 miles).
