Located in the Northumberland Coast National Landscape, in the quaint village of Embleton and close to Embleton Bay Beach, this stylish retreat is ideal for a memory-making getaway with friends and family.

Through the welcoming entrance porch, head into the cosy lounge, which benefits from a beautiful bay window, colourful accents, and a flame-effect gas fire. The heart of this home-away-from-home can be found in the kitchen/diner, complete with a central island, dining table, and a beautiful, pitched ceiling with a skylight that floods the space with natural light. On a fine evening, open up the large set of bi-fold patio doors to make the most of indoor/outdoor living. When it’s time to retire for the evening, there are three blissful bedrooms on offer: a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a cheery single bedroom, and a super-king-size room that converts to twins on request. A family bathroom with a free-standing bath and separate shower completes the interior. Outside, the west-facing lawn at the front of the property is a real sun-trap, whilst the enclosed rear patio garden, furnished with a rattan dining set, is the ideal spot for al fresco evenings. There is private parking available for two cars.

Nothing could be more relaxing than strolling the golden sands of Embleton Bay (1.5 miles). Overlooking Embleton Bay is Dunstanburgh Castle (3.5 miles), where culture vultures can walk through hundreds of years of history. A fabulous selection of local shops and restaurants can be found in the market town of Alnwick (8.5 miles), home to a stunning castle and gardens. Beautiful cottage, lots of extra touches and everything you need provided for a relaxing break in a home from home. Great location within walk of a beautiful, quiet beach, and 2 local pubs and village shop. Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell and Alnwick a short drive. Would highly recommend Hedgehog House and Embleton for a break away.

What more can you say but this place was perfect. Located close to the beach, and perfect as a base for travelling up and down the coast. It was furnished as if it was your own home and not a holiday home which meant it was incredibly comfortable, and were the beds! The incredible hot tub and pergola just finished it off.
