Place your shoes and coats in the entrance lobby and step into the bright and airy open-plan living space. To one side, the chic kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious breakfasts and culinary delights for dinner. It has a breakfast bar where guests can socialise while cooking up a storm. The lounge has a pair of sumptuous sofas, a flame-effect electric fire, and a Smart TV, so evenings in are comfortable and cosy. When you are ready to retreat to bed, head down the hallway to the two impressive bedrooms. One is a super-king-size boasting its own en-suite shower room, while the other is a king-size and has use of a family bathroom containing a shower over the bath and a WC. Though this property does not have its own outdoor space, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outside in the village. Sit on the riverbank (200 metres) with a takeaway hot drink from one of the nearby coffee shops.
The lovely village of Warkworth is home to several pubs and restaurants, as well as a couple of shops, so you can pick up amenities. The imposing Warkworth Castle (500 metres) has a rich history and is well worth a visit. Head down to Warkworth Beach (1 mile) and enjoy the sandy shores, head off along the Northumberland Coast Path to Amble (2 miles), where you can take a boat trip to see the puffins and seabirds.
