Sleeping six guests in three elegant bedrooms, this dog-friendly property is spacious and comfortable, with an enclosed courtyard garden and parking. Stroll out for castle views, riverside walks, and to explore the historic village centre, or wander a mile to the dog-friendly beach.

Laid out over three floors, this semi-detached holiday home is beautifully decorated in a modern Georgian style, giving it a timeless elegance throughout. Flooded with light from the large bay window, the lounge is warm and cosy with patterned wallpaper, a stylish fireplace and sumptuous seating. A Smart TV, music system and selection of books, toys and games entertain all ages. Prepare meals for your group in the spacious kitchen/diner, making use of delicious Northumbrian produce, before gathering around the dining table for sociable mealtimes. Three bedrooms are divided between the top two floors. The first floor has a king-size and a twin room, both with cast-iron beds and pocket-sprung mattresses. The twin has seasonal views of Warkworth Castle, and they share use of the family bathroom. Upstairs, the master suite sits below the eaves with a king-size leather bed, TV, an en-suite shower room, and castle views from the skylight. Make the most of warm weather in the enclosed, L-shaped courtyard garden, which has a bistro set for al fresco drinks and dining. The property benefits from one private parking space with additional spaces at the front of the property and along the riverside.

Wander out to explore Warkworth Castle and browse Castle Street, which runs from the castle to a medieval church with a wealth of shops and eateries sandwiched in between. Stroll along the riverside to pretty Amble (under 2 miles), where you can browse the shops and seafood shacks of the award-winning marina and hop on a boat trip to see the puffins of Coquet Island.

Magdalene House was a lovely comfortable well equipped property, excellently located near the river and to the town centre. Being dog friendly was also appreciated. The comms and service provided by the Agent was brilliant. Looking forward to staying here again.

Located in a lovely quiet area of the village, very handy for the local eateries/shops and also close to Amble. A good base for walking. We visited with our 2 dogs and the house was very welcoming. Lovely welcome goodies (including for the dogs). The coffee machine was broken however was very swiftly replaced which we were impressed with
