Both me and my wife plus our little dog had a pleasant time in the center of Rothbury. Very handy for eating out and a chip shop two minutes walk. Lovely walks along the river which was a couple of minutes from the door and plenty countryside the other way out of the centre.

Nice flat in a good location- close to pubs/bars/restaurant and local co-op. Only thing missing is a washing machine but given the size of the space can understand why there isnt one.

Great property and location in a lovely village with lots of food and drinks establishments. The cottage was beautifully presented and we will definitely consider a return visit. Lots of places to visit a short drive away too

This is a little hidden gem in the High Street of Rothbury, right next to all the dining and shopping venues you would need. Just up the road is Cragside, an essential visit for any one staying there. We would highly recommend this venue for anyone wanting to visit the Northumberland coastal villages, Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles or the Dark Skies Read morevenues in the Kielder Forest. We had an amazing time, and will certainly return to the area. Chris and EmmaJane are excellent hosts. Hide

Very smart and clean accommodation, perfectly situated in town to walk to pubs, restaurants etc. don't let the fact there's no private parking put you off, we had no problem all week finding a space within a few feet of the door

A lovely two room place to stay in the beautiful Rothbury. Spotlessly clean and modern. Free parking outside the property. If very big, you may struggle in the tiny weeny, shower room but as we are both slim, we could manage. A holiday flat is upstairs, so you do hear each other, but our guest mates were peaceful enough.

We loved the cottage although after about three nights we were feeling a bit claustrophobic and would take the upstairs apartment next time.
