The heart of this stunning family home is an open-plan living space that flows thoughtfully from one space to the next. Rustle up home-cooked meals in the sleek and stylish fitted kitchen, and grab a casual bite at the breakfast bar or enjoy memorable mealtimes gathered around the dining table. Then fill the lounge with laughter and chatter as you discuss the highlights of your day or catch up on your favourite TV shows. There are great views from here to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, which you can cross the causeway to visit twice daily (15.5 miles) and the wildlife-strewn Farne Islands, which you can visit from Seahouses harbour (3.5 miles).

We had a great stay at Grey Goose, the location is fantastic being walking distance to shops, cafes, pubs, the castle and Bamburgh beach. The house was really clean with lots of amenities, I often pack a few bits from home for these trips, extra dishwasher tablets, cleaning cloths etc but none of it was needed. The property also has a hoover which Read moreis really helpful given likely beach days with a 5 year old. The garden is beautiful, we travelled in late May and it was all in bloom. Superb location, furnished to high standard and very clean. Great to have a parking space. Extremely peaceful despite being so close to village centre. Perfect holiday home.

Very comfortable cottage with every mod con. Lovely welcome package (including vases of flowers). Pubs & restaurants just around the corner. Parking space for one car which was very handy. Walking distance to Bamburgh Castle, the Grace Darling Museum & the beach. Couldn't fault it.

We had an amazing break at The Grey Goose - I do not think we have ever stayed in a property so clean, so well-equipped and so welcoming. The owners were so friendly and it was lovely meeting them. The house is beautiful and really well located, just a quick walk from the beautiful village of Bamburgh which boasts a range of really great pubs, restRead moreaurants and cafes. This property certainly lived up to our high expectations. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the kitchen contained everything we needed. The suggested day trips were an added bonus - we did two of them! Would highly recommend this lovely house in a wonderful location.

A really well presented property with all the modern conveniences that you would want. Is very much in the centre of Bamburgh with all the pubs, shops, Castle and beach within a few minutes walk. What a lovely property and wonderful hosts too! On arrival we had some yummy goodies and the property was spotless. The only thing we felt was it would be useful to have somewhere to store your bikes. Other than that location spot on well worth a visit.

The house is lovely and in wonderful condition. It has everything you need. Location is perfect as a base for touring the area. The hosts are terrific and met us with a bottle of wine and cake !
