We had a great stay and were pretty impressed with the property. We only had a few minor gripes, but, feel it would be a little unfair to be picky given how pleased we were overall. For myself, the two Chesterfield sofas look good but are not the most comfy. Being over 6'0", they're really difficult to get comfy on.

Lovely house - clean, well equipped, spacious and tastefully decorated (though we did think there were too many cushions!) Beds were very comfortable too. In terms of location it was in a very quiet area, yet still ideally situated for striking out to neighbouring towns and attractions; and if staying at home it was only a couple of minutes walk toRead more a path down to the shore. I would highly recommend it. Hide

A really nice barn conversion in a central location for all the sights. Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Berwick upon Tweed and Alnwick were all in easy reach. There is also two lovely walks from the cottage, one around the edge of Budle Bay and one heading inland slightly on the official costal path.

The cottage was very comfortable, we wanted for very little, and it was very tastefully decorated. Our only disappointment was that we were unable to see Budle Bay from our 'upside down house', considering it was so near.

Great location in a cluster of converted agricultural buildings. First floor living accommodation is great. Wonderful, detailed, instructions on the surrounding areas with very accurate detailed descriptions of walks and places to eat and drink- thank you. Accommodation very tired and comments passed to owners. Definitely would stay again !
