House chosen for it's great location in the village and close to the beach. Plenty of space inside and out. Difficult first night with no electricity and no out of hours response from the holiday company until 10.30 the next day. Having stayed here before we knew we would need extra tea towels, dish cloths, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, loo roRead morell which we brought with us. Expected and was happy to leave the place tidy on departure but didn't expect to have to strip the beds Hide

Loved the house and decor was first class. What was disappointing was the lack of consumables. No washing up liquid, tea towel, oven glove. No hand wash in some bathrooms. And no shampoo or conditioner. And no basics like bread or milk which would be good. Issue being that there is no shop in Bamburgh. So either provide these things or make it muchRead more clearer what isnt provided on the website so people bring their own. But to be honest for the cost I would expect all of the above to be provided. Hide

Excellent location and short easy walk to the beach. The house is beautifully decorated and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The new addition of the walled garden cafe and childrens play ground is impressive in design and the food is excellent.
