A wonderful base from which to explore the Northumbria coast although you will need to drive to one of the many beaches. The cottage is beautiful inside and out and the fire place was superbly cosy especially as the nights are getting a bit cooler! All in all, a great week away.

Botany Garden Cottage is lovely. It is warm and cosy and very well equipped. The double bed is really comfortable, the towels are nice and thick and the bed linen felt crisp and new. The wi-fi works well. The garden is really pretty and private. I feel the host had given a lot of thought to guests' comfort and loved my stay here.

The cottage is lovely. The location of the cottage is Christon Bank, which has a friendly pub that sadly doesn't serve food, but welcomes dogs. There is no shop, so come prepared with provisions when staying here.
