Nestled within the tranquil Percy Wood Country Park, this stylish countryside lodge offers the perfect retreat for families looking to unwind and explore Northumberland. Surrounded by scenic woodland walks and boasting beautiful views over the golf course, the lodge even has its own luxurious hot tub bubbling away on the decked terrace.

Enter into the light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where contemporary style meets cosy charm. This sociable space is designed for relaxing after a day of adventure, whether you’re whipping up a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen, gathering for dinner, or unwinding in front of the electric flame-effect fire. In warmer months, open the patio doors and let the fresh country air flow in. The three comfortable bedrooms include a double with an en-suite shower room, a second double, and a twin – each thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful night’s sleep. A modern family bathroom completes the lodge. Outside, the enclosed decked terrace is an oasis of relaxation. Sink into the bubbling hot tub and soak in the far-reaching views across the golf course towards the Cheviot Hills, then enjoy a leisurely al fresco meal. With private parking for two cars, this Northumberland hideaway offers everything you need for a stress-free stay.

Guests can enjoy unlimited access to the park’s 18-hole golf course. Dine in the on-site restaurnat or take a stroll through the picturesque grounds, where you might catch a glimpse of the resident deer. For history lovers, the magnificent Alnwick Castle (10.5 miles) and the medieval ruins of Warkworth Castle (8.5 miles) offer fascinating insights into the region’s past. If you’re drawn to the coast, take a boat trip from Seahouses (24 miles) to see the UK’s largest grey seal colony on the Farne Islands, or enjoy a classic beach day at Amble Links Beach (10 miles) and sandy Druridge Bay (13 miles). A lovely home in a beautiful setting. On-site restaurant disappointing as only accessible on foot along dusty path or across rough terrain. Home easy to find and close enough to A1 to make travelling around easy. Site clean and quiet.

Beautifully situated lodge with lovely views over the gold course. The lodge is very spacious, bright and well appointed. Beds are very comfortable with excellent bedding. We had a couple of minor issues and the managing agent was really quick in resolving them. the park is very clean, tidy, neat and feels safe. There is a pub owned by the site whiRead morech is a short walk away. Very friendly but do not rely on it. We checked opening times with them then went for Sunday dinner at 6pm to find they had stopped food at 4pm as the "were so quiet". We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property Hide
