Perfect for a multi-generational party, this striking seaside home sits in a quiet spot only a mile from Beadnell''s beautiful beach. With four bedrooms - one of them on the ground floor - and a vast open-plan living space, it offers flexible, pet-friendly accommodation for six and comes complete with a choice of al fresco dining areas, off-road parking and secure outdoor storage.

Impressive from the moment you pull onto the driveway, this detached property welcomes guests through a large porch into an open-plan living space flooded with light from dual-aspect sliding doors. A warming wood burner is set into the huge stone fireplace in the lounge area; stretch out on a choice of seating to chat, listen to music or watch a movie on the Smart TV. The kitchen has all the home-from-home must-haves; share chef duties then gather in the spacious dining area. From the porch, a door leads into the garage/utility where you''ll find a handy washer/dryer plus space to store bikes and other outdoor gear. A single bedroom and adjacent shower room complete the ground floor layout. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms and another single, plus a family bathroom. Your living space extends into a garden area at the front of the house which has outdoor furniture, and is reached directly from the lounge. At the rear, there is a fully enclosed, furnished patio, accessed via sliding doors from the dining room. An outside tap will prove useful for cleaning sandy paws and footwear, and for convenience, a tall side garden gate links the back door to the front garden.

Explore the village to find friendly eateries and, less than a mile from your doorstep, a sandy beach that''s perfect for family strolls, rock pooling, picnics and water sports. The coastal path heads south to Low Newton (5.5 miles) and north to Seahouses (2 miles), where you can take a boat trip to the Farne Islands. Discover magnificent Bamburgh Castle (5.5 miles) or, 22 miles north, world-famous Lindisfarne - also known as Holy Island - can be reached, when tides permit, via a paved causeway.

Initially on entering The Wynding House everything was good, lovely modern kitchen, bathrooms, bed linens and towels all clean and good quality however there was an underlying cleanliness problem throughout the house, cobwebs, dust around edges and corners of floors/carpets, large living room window filthy, some of kitchen utensils in needs of replRead moreacing and crockery chipped. Just needs some TLC and a complete deep clean. Had a lovely stay and would recommend if these issues are addressed. At the moment would rate this house as a 3 star property not 4 star. Hide

A clean, comfortable, very well situated property. Very short walk to pubs, cafes and beach. No need to use your car unless you want to explore further afield.

House clean and beds comfortable Heating system terrible Should not have to rely on log burner to keep a large house warm . Also should not have to be bothered with lighting fires every day while on holiday

This was our second visit and was just as enjoyable as the first. Everything you could ask for is available at the house. I was looking forward to lighting the fire but found the house to be warm enough. Perfect stay for 6 and a dog.

Nice, well equipped property but needs some TLC. Initially the property looked spotless but we soon found that was not the case. There were problems with fittings and fixtures throughout the week. Good location near to some nice eateries and within walking distance of the beach. The good outweighed the bad, but for the amount of money we paid, it wRead moreas not worth it and we would not stay here again. The house is situated in a great village with good pubs, eateries and a well equipped local shop . Easy walk to the beach and into Seahouses. Lovely coastal villages within short driving distance. House easy to find, good parking. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Bit strange walking out of downstairs bathroom with a huge glass door & porch in Read morefront of you. Property in an excellent location. Although the front garden isn't enclosed this wasn't a problem with our two spaniels as property is well back from the road.

Cottage was lovely and the location was fab. The Craster Arms pub, which was so close was really lovely with good food and good value for money. All in all we had a great time and the weather was good for us, which helped. We would definitely go back.

Excellent property. Would highly recommend. Pros - Location, facilities, comfort, parking, dog friendly, stirage, walking distance to all Beadnell village and harbour, only place ive stayed where they provide enough toilet roll for duration of you stay ! Cons - none i can think of.

5 Rating Cottage is modern & extremely clean and the location is perfect - we have always stayed at properties in the Wamses but this year decided to be more Central and it was great not to have to use the potholed, usually flooded lane daily. This is a fabulous high spec house. Sadly too sophisticated for us. We were unlucky to be there during a cold spell and all the radiators were off including towel rails. The heating system working from a thermostat connected to the wi-fi with which you had to use a mobile phone to operate was beyond us. The pages and pages in the manual were bRead moreeyond us. If you'd like to stay in this lovely house take a technical genius with you or a heating engineer. We had to buy a fan heater. Hide

A wonderful property in our favourite location, l recently lost my wife and returned to the place she loved. If theres a more beautiful place in Britain Ive yet to find it. The cottage is lovely and decorated to a high standard, plus the local pub / eatery is only 40yards away. Amazing
