A couple of shallow steps lead into this charming cottage, with a handy utility room offering ample space to store muddy boots, bikes and beach equipment. From here, a step leads up into a charming galley-style kitchen/diner with a sociable farmhouse dining table and plenty of equipment so you can rustle up and enjoy family meals together. For relaxation, the light-filled lounge has a Smart TV, comfortable seating and sweet views out over the garden. The bungalow also has a family bathroom and two cosy bedrooms: a cheerful king-size room and a pretty twin. Outside, there''s a lovely enclosed garden with a patio, outdoor furniture and a generous lawn with views towards the sea, perfect for relaxing with some al fresco dining on a sunny summer''s afternoon.

The coastal path is just 400 metres away, leading north towards Bamburgh Castle (13.5 miles) and south to Alnmouth (6 miles), with Seaton Point, Craster, Newton-by-the-Sea, Beadnell Bay and Dunstanburgh Castle along the way. Longhoughton Beach, Howick Sands and Sugar Sands are all within 1.5 miles, with the stunning Howick Hall Gardens and Arboretum just a mile inland. With a wide range of great pubs and restaurants, the bustling market town of Alnwick (6.5 miles) is home to the historic Alnwick Castle and the magical Alnwick Garden.

We really enjoyed our stay at 2 store cottage, The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed for our week in Northumberland.

Fantastic little cottage within a few metres of the sea . Brilliant position for coast and Howick Hall. Enclosed garden door dog. Good modern facilities like wifi and smart TV Great place !!

A lovely cottage situated in a very quiet location with great access to coastal walks and beaches. There are lots of great places to visit nearby.

A lovely cottage Warm and cosy. The utility/ porch is great for cleaning off the dogs ad hanging coats. Also great for drying if its inclement outside. Anna, the housekeeper was exceptional. I'd thoroughly recommend this, but sadly it's only available fir this year. So close to the coast path too.

The totally secure garden is a bonus for those of us with dogs, especially small ones. The cottage is very well appointed and ideally suited to visit everywhere on the northumberland coast. A little gem right on the coast. This cottage had everything you would need for a fantastic stay , and all brand new, clean, and super smart. The bed is one of the best we have slept in with the cottages. The coast is one minute walk down the road and the surrounding area is well worth a visit.
