Our family had a fantastic time and the house is perfectly located and extremely close to bars, restaurants with a short stroll to shops. Plus perfect for the castle and gardens and exploring the local area. The house could do with some TLC however.

The position was excellent, the heating was on so nice and cosy. Good beds and lots of rooms, very quiet even for a townhouse. Games and jigsaws for quiet days. Castle, garden, bookshop and town just a short walk away

Bondgate is in an excellent location for exploring the area, Alnwick castle and gardens are a stroll away. Castles, coasts and lovely towns and beaches are located within short drives. This is a lovely house for a large group of people. If you request a cot please note that it appears to be kept under one of the beds and you will need to bring your own sheets. It is very central for the town and Alnwick gardens.

This house is an absolutely gorgeous space and was perfect for our family gathering. The location is amazing, the castle and gardens are easily walkable as well as local shops. The living areas are spacious and comfortable, and the decor throughout is immaculate. The house is well equipped and the owner was very responsive and helpful when we had qRead moreuestions. The beds were really comfortable, and the multiple bathrooms makes life easy. Two little issues - The WiFi works brilliantly on the ground floor but gets progressively intermittent as you go up the house. Some Wi-Fi extenders would be helpful. The local 4G works fine though, if you have plenty of data! The childrens bedroom (bunk bed room) bizarrely has a Yale lock on the inside which puts them at risk of locking themselves in - we kept it on the latch but then the door didnt stay closed. Neither of these issues impacted our stay too much but worth being aware of. We had a great week here and would definitely choose to stay again if we visit Alnwick in the future. Hide
