The curved ceiling with skylights and wooden beams adds character to the space. On one side of the room is a compact but well-equipped ‘L’-shaped kitchen with wooden countertops. After cooking a hearty meal, you can dine with your loved ones at the wooden table and comfortable chairs. Walk over to the lounge area to find a contemporary floor lamp, an inglenook fireplace with a wood burner and a Smart TV amongst the sofa and armchairs. Along the hallway is a family shower room plus two bedrooms – a king-size zip-and-link and a double with an en-suite. Access the south-facing patio with a BBQ and furniture through the lounge. There is off-road parking for one car plus additional on-street parking.
While staying on the outskirts of Belford, head into the centre of the village to find a handful of eateries and shops (0.5 miles). Visit the coastal village of Bamburgh (5.5 miles) to see the impressive historical castle overlooking a sandy beach. Go for a dip at Budle Bay (3.5 miles) or wander along the coastline to Ross Sands where you can admire views of Holy Island. If you drive towards Beal (8.5 miles), you’ll find a causeway which takes you to Holy Island, where you can see Lindisfarne Castle.
