Kick off your walking boots in the hallway, and head through to the light and bright kitchen/diner/snug. The stylish kitchen area has everything needed for a self-catering holiday, and you can gather around the beautiful wooden dining table to share delicious dinners together. The room features a cosy wood burner, surrounded by two armchairs. In the evenings, spend time in the inviting lounge, watching a movie on the Smart TV or playing games from the selection provided. The three tranquil bedrooms are upstairs, and all boast relaxing, rural views. One of the bedrooms has an en-suite shower room and there is also a family bathroom on this level. Outside, the enclosed garden has a raised patio area for outdoor entertaining, and there’s also a large lawn where children and dogs can play.
You’ll find a myriad of walking trails in and around the village. Further afield, Kielder Water and Forest Park is just 14 miles away. Home to England’s largest forest, this unique landscape is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and is also known for its spectacular dark skies. The traditional market town of Rothbury is 25 miles away and has a good range of independent shops and eateries, along with the beautiful National Trust property of Cragside.
