A delightful cottage set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between the coastal villages of Warkworth and Alnmouth, with private access to the little-known Killiecrankie Beach, reached through the field for a sunset stroll or a picnic lunch. The charming village of Warkworth (2 miles) offers welcoming shops, pubs, and restaurants. Visit medieval Warkworth Castle, walk along the River Coquet to see local birdlife, and play on Warkworth’s sandy beach, all within 2 miles. Explore Alnmouth village (3 miles) with its expansive shoreline and river estuary, quaint shops, bars, eateries, and a stunning golf course open to visitors. Alnwick Castle and Gardens (6.5 miles) are a must for a memorable day out, and the traditional fishing port of Amble (3 miles) boasts a boardwalk pier, a popular ice cream parlour, restaurants, and cafes.

Beyond the lawn garden towards Alnmouth. Head through to the contemporary kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling and exposed beams adding to the sense of space and light. The kitchen is well-equipped for your needs, you can sit together at the dining table for your meals, and a door leads from the kitchen into the garden. Lovely cottage in perfect location a few minutes away from the beach .Paths to costal path and cycles routes very close too.The cottage was very well equipped and warm with lovely views .Spacious parking outside and kids loved the back garden.Smart TV and gas fire made some wet evenings very enjoyable.Would visits again.Very peaceful .

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location! It was the perfect place to relax, very peaceful and the cottage has everything you need. Best of all is the wide, deserted beach you have private access to, which is just a few minutes walk away. The location is perfect as a base to explore the area, just ten minutes drive from Alnwick.
