Seahouses has a quaint harbour with various local eateries, gift shops, amusements and pubs. Explore the award-winning St Aidan’s Beach (0.5 miles), with 2 miles of splendid sands, and if you walk north, you reach Bamburgh Beach and can visit the lovely village and magnificent castle (3 miles).

Step into the hall of this stylish three-storey property with a reverse-level design. Downstairs is a super-king-size bedroom with a Smart TV and French doors leading out to a balcony with outdoor furniture and seaside views. It has a zip-and-link bed so can be made up as a twin on request. This floor also has a stylish shower room. The first floor offers a super king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a Smart TV, French doors leading out to a fully enclosed balcony, and a single room with a Smart TV. On the second floor is the fabulous open-plan living area. Relax on the comfortable seating, watch a movie on the Smart TV, and enjoy a wood burner effect electric fire in the cooler months. The chic and stylish kitchen has everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze and features a breakfast bar. Eat together in the dining area with French doors leading to an enclosed balcony. Outside is an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture for some al fresco dining.

Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands, one of Britain’s most spectacular wildlife habitats, to see the birdlife, seals, and puffins. A great day out for all ages is Dunstanburgh Castle (11 miles), where you can discover more about the local history and enjoy a picnic. Walk a section of the Northumberland Coastal Path or head to the vast expanse of sand at Embleton Bay (9 miles), perfect for lazy days, walks along the sand or sandcastle competitions.

Would absolutely recommend this property, it was very clean and comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. The views are beautiful and the sunsets amazing, could sit and look out over the Farne islands and Bamburgh castle in the distance all day if there wasnt so much else to see and do. Perfect location for boat trips as right by the haRead morerbour, could not believe the number of seabirds we saw particularly the puffins which was one of the main reasons for our visit. A lovely coastal 3 mile walk to Bamburgh castle, just dont rely on the buses for a return trip as we did and ended up walking back too. We visited Cragside, Holy island and Alnwick for the castle, gardens and more all within a comfortable drive. Secure private parking onsite was a bonus and made a difference. There is a choice of places to eat and plenty of shops for groceries all within a few minutes walk. Seahouses and definitely this property is our number one choice should we travel to Northumberland again, which I really hope we do. Hide

Had a lovely break at Commodore end of September, the property is well presented and beautifully situated in Seahouses with stunning views up the coast towards Bamburgh Castle and the shops, restaurants and pubs are a very short walk away. WiFi is good. One thing to be aware of if you have any difficulty with stairs, my husband and I are of more Read moremature years and had noted that the property is spread over 3 floors and that there is bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, however, the living area and kitchen is on the top floor, we were prepared for this, unfortunately there was no indication of the steepness of the stairs or the fact that they are twisting, no straight runs which made them far more difficult for us to ascend. This house is in a great location with a view of Bamburgh Castle. It was spotlessly clean. Seahouses is in a fantastic spot for coastal walks.

Thank you for letting us share your lovely holiday home. The location is perfect and views of the sunset over Bamburgh are stunning. We really enjoyed our week in Seahouses and will be back in the future.
