On arrival at the property, you can first admire the south-facing garden with a lawn, a furnished patio space and a swing for children. Here, you’ll also find a uniquely designed garden room with a bar and darts board. Heading inside, the one-of-a-kind decor continues with characterful features dotted throughout. An open-plan living area consists of sleek kitchen facilities, a central dining table set for six and a light-filled lounge area with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Elsewhere on the ground floor, find six separate bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities. Laid out as two super-king-size and one twin, the bedrooms are utterly spacious and ever-comfortable.

Walk along the river into the village of Warkworth to tour the English Heritage-maintained castle (500 metres) and savour a drink or two in a local pub. The beach is just 1.5 miles away and offers a local surf school where you can rent equipment or embark on lessons out in the water. From the beach, you can admire the RSPB reserve of Coquet Island in the distance, and the local town of Amble offers boat trips out to spot the puffins that reside on the protected island.

Fantastic location with unspoilt views over the countryside, Beal Bank Farm has everything you could wish for, including plentiful parking, with an EV charger. Warkworth is a short walk away with a castle to visit, many great pubs and lovely walks. The cottage is very comfortable and decorated to a very high standard with each bedroom accessing itsRead more own bathroom and the best thing is its dog friendly. Will definitely return. Hide

Amazing cottage with lots of charm. Garden and outside bar were also great. We did have an issue with the plumbing but this was dealt with as quickly as possible. Love this place so will definitely be back!
