A beautiful, contemporary cottage welcoming four guests and a canine companion on the striking Holy Island. While away the days on the sandy beaches before retreating to this pleasant home and enjoying a homecooked al fresco meal in the enclosed garden.
Enter this mid-terraced cottage and feel immediately at home in the bright and welcoming atmosphere. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has dual aspect windows that let the light come flooding in. Enjoy cosy evenings curled up on the sofa warming up in front of the wood burner and Smart TV. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped and the open-plan element means you can still socialise while cooking up tasty meals. A dining table with four chairs is also situated in the lounge area. Climb the stairs to the two bedrooms, firstly, a sumptuous double bedroom with large window, or a lavish twin bedroom. There is also a elegant family bathroom containing a shower over the bath and a WC. The rear garden is fully enclosed, so you can let the dog explore while you sit back and relax on the garden furniture.
Set in the heart of the village, you will find plenty of cafes and pubs within 200 metres. Accessed via a tidal causeway, this island has a rich history and is home to a 16th century coastal castle (0.6 miles), and an ancient priory (250 metres). Visit one of the four sandy beaches on the island for some sunbathing, a paddle, or wildlife watching. Head back to the mainland, and visit the imposing Bamburgh Castle (16 miles), and take a long walk along the Northumberland Coast Path.
